Mass Effect 2 coming out for PS3?

It seems Mass Effect 2 has been listed as coming out for PS3 in various game stores around the world. This could simply be a mistake, or it could be true. The source has phoned EA and we will find out if it is true on Monday.

Mere hours after Australian retailer GAME added a PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 to their database EA Russia has added fuel to the fire, listing Mass Effect 2 for PS3 in addition to Xbox 360 and PC on their official website.

    I often think that with EA, one hand doesn't know what the others doing. Didn't a similar situation occur regarding Left4Dead 2?

    O Lord of Gaming, please let this be true.

    The fact that EA Russia also lists this for the PS3 is fishy. I'd REALLY enjoy playing Mass Effect, tbh.

    I have a feeling the Mass Effect games will come out on PS3 one day, but not right now, not right before the launch of the second game.

    It won't.

    And if it did, what's the point? You'd be missing out on the first, and therefore be lost throughout the storyline.

      MGS has gone multiplat and, with the story in that, the storyline argument holds no water.

      I think it's just a mistake within the listings though.

    It's possible, just as any third party game is, but doubtful. Companies do this all the time, if they held their word I would be playing Starcraft II for a year now.

    Damn you Blizzard, it's an RTS, you don't need five years to develop it!

    They'll get the same generic "we can't confirm or deny" response like everyone else that has asked EA about the rumor.

    If only, Kave... Doesn't EA know that MS is EVIL and Xboxs BREAK while Sony is a PURE force of light?

    It's another stupid listing, MGS4 was listed by alot of retailers as coming to the 360, Left 4 Dead 2 is currently listed in a few UK retailers as coming to PS3.

    Their just your generic *bleep* ups that all retailers do.
