In what could be a slip of the tongue on Rocksteady founder Sefton Hill's part, a recent interview with Official Playstation Magazine (issue 38) hints off that the team will be working on another Batman game. It's no question that Batman: Arkham Asylum is a major hit this year, with over two million copies sold within weeks of release, as well as it's highly critical appraise. One can assume a sequel has gotten the green light, but an official confirmation couldn't hurt either, Rocksteady.

I’m not really allowed to comment on that, but there are definitely lots of exciting stories to tell in Batman’s world, and I can say that we’re really privileged to work on it, and excited about future possibilities.

Everyone who played the game knew it would get a sequel, it is one of the best games this year along with Uncharted 2 and the soon to be out Left 4 Dead 2, these 3 games alone make up the best games of the year. Based on Gameplay and Story, Batman itself captures the essence of Batman and makes it into a game wonderfully.

3 games that are definitely the biggest contenders for GOTY in my books, sure Call of Duty: Yet another generic war game 2 will sell well, but no way in hell will it have better gameplay and story than those 3 games.
