A couple of days ago Namco Bandai's countdown site stated that an RPG will return. While people speculated, or hoped rather, that it would be a Xenosaga game or a Baten Kaitos sequel, Siliconera reports that according to Japanese blogs the site could very well be a sequel to Digimon Story, also known as Digimon World in the west. Evidence suggests that there is a certain degree of truth in this possibility as the url of the site is registered under Bandai rather than Namco, suggesting a Bandai property.

Japanese blogs are reporting Digimon Story: Lost Evolution, a new Digimon RPG for the Nintendo DS is slated for 2010. Could this be the game Namco Bandai is teasing?
