Could the old school NBA Jam series of video games, which had its last entry back in 2003, finally get a revival? EA has even go so far as to hire on the original creator Mark Turmell to helm the remake as well as a few other key sports games.

think this is a great idea. I've never been big on sports games, but I've always had a softsport for those games that pushed away from the strict rules and regs of the actual sport, and drifted into a more fun experience.

Awesome, I loved this game on the SNES, NBA Jam Tournament Edition. xD It was so wacky, especially with the cheats.

It was on the SNES as well. :S

Exclusive-wise, I'd go with Earthworm Jim or Streets of Rage.

Wow, this was the only sports game on the SNES that I loved playing. Jumping 20 feet in the air and making impossible dunks, arcade sports at its finest back then.
