Possibly the best 3D Sonic game could be on its way to XBLA. The original source of the rumor has been kept anonymous, but SEGAOnline reports that the Dreamcast classic, Sonic Adventure, is coming to Microsoft's download service.

It's generally hard to believe rumours from anonymous sources and we are still keeping this as a rumour, but the screenshot (kindly provided by SEGAOnline) does look pretty legitimate and clearly shows the download screen on Xbox Live Marketplace.

Hmm, sounds very nice, The 2 sonic adventures games are the ONLY 3D sonic games that could even pass as games (the second one is very good actually). I'd buy it.

Though, it is a rumor of course.

EDIT: I want to know why the full game is free in that pic, that definately makes it suss.

I've still got the Director's Cut version for Gamecube. Ahhhh good times, personally I prefer SA2 more but this is definitely cool none the less. I hope it's true. Definitely would get even though I've already got a copy.

Would be nice to see the Adventure titles as downloadable titles, as it would to see more Dreamcast games in general.
