The Midnight Riders of Left 4 Dead 2 fame may be hitting a Rock Band near you. With the introduction of Rock Band Network, two of the Midnight Riders' hits, "Midnight Ride" and "One Bad Man" are being used to test the new setup. And whilst this doesn't confirm Smitty, Ox, Dusty, and Jake are heading into the game, one can speculate that it's quite possible.

Two of the band's tracks, "Midnight Ride" and "One Bad Man," are currently in the playtest phase on Rock Band Network. The tracks, supposedly taken from the greatest hits record, High Heels & Brushed Steel, were also featured in Left 4 Dead 2.
