Dimps developing Sonic The Hedgehog 4?

It looks like Dimps, not Sonic Team, will be developing the upcoming downloadable game for the Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, Sonic The Hedgehog 4.

    No.

    I was hoping for a good Sonic game, and they go off in ruin it. I plain don't like sidescrollers, but I was giving this one a chance since it looks good; now I'm not so sure.

    The people who created the horrible GBA and DS Sonic games. However, Rush was actually okay-ish.

      So these are the people who designed the day time levels of Unleashed, Rush and the Advanced games which, whilst not all good, were miles better than the shit Sega has been pushing and them developing this game (as they've shown they're fairly capable of doing a game like this, moreso than whoever's left in Sega these days) is a bad thing?

      Hmm. Gamers confuse me.

      and Rush was actually pretty good. The game was a tad on the easy side as it felt like it played itself, but it was still a good game

    Sonic Team however, made the good, old sidescrolling Sonic games. They were the really good ones. Sonic the Hedgehog, STH (lol sexual disease worthy) 2, S&K, and all of those.

      But they clearly don't have the skill they used to otherwise they'd have made a good side scroller recently, considering everyone has been verbally raping them to do so, but they haven't. Either the talent left them or they just stopped caring but whichever it is they can't do it.

      Sylvester Stalone was once a brilliant action film star and his old films will be better than most new ones that come out. Doesn't change the fact that his newer films have sucked. In the same way Sonic Team are passed their use-by date, so K Sara.

    Am I the only person on earth that liked the Sonic Advance games, and enjoyed Sonic Rush? If anything this has actually given me hope for the game given SonicTeam's inability to make a decent game anymore.

    Considering Team Sonic has made every bit of fail in the latest Sonic games, it's surprising that people react so negatively to this.

    The guys who made Sonic and the Black Knight or the guys who made the only parts of Unleashed that were any fun... I take Dimps. Sonic Team hasn't done anything good for the series since the 90's.... bout time they give the series to a group that shows potential.
