Square Enix Hints At Final Fantasy IX Release On PSN

Both Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII have been successes on PSN, and it looks like Final Fantasy IX might soon be following...

Over the past few days, Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto has been collecting opinions on Final Fantasy IX via the Square Enix Members Twitter. Earlier today, he wrote: "Thanks to everyone for your opinions on FF9. Regarding an FF9 download release, everyone is so passionate about it that I'll be proposing it at the next board meeting. Look forward to next week!"

    It's really just been a matter of time. Of course what I consider to be the best Final Fantasy of all time would come out on PSN.

    Such a wonderfully beautiful game with a lighthearted and fun story.

    Lindblum is the greatest place on Ear-Gaia.

      Not only one of the best, but has the third best soundtrack (IMO) of all FF games. I just love the music in Terra and the world map.

    It has to come out on the PSN eventually.

    This is tied for the best FF game, with FF6 in my opinion.

    Anyway FFX>Every other FF.

    Never played FFIX, never looked my kind of game (not a fan of the graphic style).

    I'm all for this idea. I love FFIX, and this would only spread the awesomeness.
