It looks like only one website on the web holds a release date for the long delayed PC version of Battlefield 1943, and it isn't EA. Still, a recent email from EA Customer Service could hold confirmation that the game is finally coming this July.

With each passing month, PC gamers are beginning to witness an increasing games drought as more and more developers shift their resources and budgets to consoles. Titles like Call of Duty which saw birth and massive popularity on PC's now pledge their allegiance to Xbox 360 and PS3.

Will Battlefield 1943 PC ever see the light of day? Fans anticipating the PC version have been left in a perpetual state of confusion for months. But, despite the game being MIA in most digital retailer's databases, there could still be hope.
