PSP2 To Compete With iPhone?

New details have come up about Sony's latest project, and they're looking more like a PSP/iPhone mix. With the addition of books and magazines, could Sony's next step be phone support?

The PSP2 (assuming that this is what Yoshida is talking about) sounds to be more like an upcoming Sony phone than anything else. With the addition of downloadable books, text messaging, the phone would be the only missing link between PSP and iPhone. Looks like Sony is trying to take hold of the market that Apple has dominated for some time now, but after failing to conquer Nintendo will the addition of discs and Sony grade games be enough to pull people from Apple's iPhone trance?

    Can someone tell me why the 3DS is going to be so good? Isn't Nintendo just updating their graphics to Sony's level ?

        How about instead of trying to be snarky, you go ahead and answer his question? I haven't been following the 3DS news and know nothing more than it is a 3D version of the DS. No I don't know the line-up or anything. So lets answer questions and be helpful instead of trying to be funny.

    That means absolutely nothing in the context of this. For quick and simple facts and answers to questions, google is just fine, but for something that is more of a opinionated answer, that is what the forums are for. The question was "can someone tell my why the 3DS is going to be so good?" That really isn't something that a quick google search can help you with. We're all gamers here more or less, we want to here as many opinions as possible. Just telling someone to go to google completely negates any justification for forums to begin with.

      Google "Nintendo 3DS". The first link is the official website of the 3DS. Click it, and browse a little around the website, and from there you can determine for yourself why it is so hyped the way it is.

    Haha, as much as I love the PSP, the DS is bounds ahead. It's sad a PSP2 has to compete with a Iphone
