Splitscreen CoOp Coming to Killzone 3?

One feature that wasn't in Killzone 2 was splitscreen CoOp, something that many games have forgotten know a days. Well ina recent leaked image, it seems to show the option to play split screen. Heres hoping its true!

Back when Killzone 2 was in development, fans were hoping for the game to feature splitscreen multiplayer gameplay. Unfortunately, Killzone 2 shipped without any type of splitscreen multiplayer.

And now with Killzone 3 in development, fans are once again asking Guerrilla to implement splitscreen. Guerrilla Games has not officially revealed anything regarding splitscreen in Killzone 3, neither confirming nor denying it. However, the image above strongly suggests that splitscreen will indeed be a feature in Killzone 3.

    I hope it does have it. Nothing eats up time like splitscreen co-op.

    That was my only hesitation when it came to Killzone 2. Everything was perfect, except that it didn't have splitscreen coop. If it had that, Killzone 2 would have been a contender for the FPS GOTY.

    If KZ3 picks up splitscreen coop, I have no doubt it would be one of the better FPS experiences of this generation. And that's coming from someone who owns zero FPS for PS3.
