Sony is betting a lot of their future on the success of their next handheld. It will no doubt cost them greatly if it fails as the PSP Go did. We've learned that Sony may be gambling with their future more than you thought. Check out the full story. Cheers!

Microsoft is loving this news.. PS4 suspended and more than likely the next Xbox planned for November 2012. They would have a completely next gen system that will be completely un-opposed, no one would have any choice but to buy it if they wanted future gen gaming.

Well I started out thinking, "Is this a surprise? Sony does the same thing every time: Delays console release. Console is expensive. Console doesn't do too well at first. Then as years go by the console takes the lead."

But reading it, somewhat has me a bit scared. It's not delayed, it's suspended? And they expect portable gaming to take precedence? That sounds almost a bit alarming, as though saying they MAY not even make a console at all but may go all (or mostly) out on the PSP2/NGP or something...

Well this is interesting. I'm not really surprised though. I could really see myself playing the PS3 for 3-4 more years no problem at all. It's probably the most future proof of all the consoles, so why rush out the PS4 when you don't need too?

I agree, but I think they're going to try and focus on the handhelds too much...
