Well the debut trailer was over a year ago and all we know is it sets place in Africa, no more then that. Well a rumor is that the game will be using some kind of touch sensitive mat for the input. Why that would be used, we don't know. They also say they want the game out before wiifit.

The website was translated from Google.

15.08.07 - Here are some messages from the rumor column of the Japanese Game Labo, of which none was so far confirmed.

Of Sony Africa(PS3) a kind “search/investigation softwareâ€‌ should be, which uses pressure and touch-sensitive mat for the input. The developers got the order to bring Africa before Nintendo Wiifit one (Wii) on the market.

Can't say I have ever heard of this game, despite it being known about for over a year, however I like invention and if it's true a new type of touch sensitive mat is being use then I am interested.

I"ve heard of it, and have been waiting for more news...but I have to say, I wasn't expecting a touchmat 0_o

I think maybe you need to use it, so you can interact with the 'ground'...so, the harder you press, teh more sound you make? You need to press on it gently, to make little noise, but you move (crawl) slower?

I think this game was supposed to have something to do with wildlife preservation, and/or photographic (I heard there would be no violence, on your part, in the game)...

I've been waiting t hear more about this game, but I think its corny that they want it out before Wiifit. It makes it sound like they deliberately copied the wii board, or whatever its called. Although, the Sony haters wuold say they definitely copied it if it came out after anyway, regardless of the fact that a wildlife game has absolutely nothing to do with an exercise platform. Oh well, damned if you do, damned if you don't.
