It's quite possible that either tomorrow, or sometime this week, there will be either an announcement of the Battlefield 3 beta, or the beta itself will begin. Rumours are detailed in article.

I don’t think we can wait any longer for the Battlefield 3 Beta, and DICE has just hinted at a big announcement coming tomorrow.
