The recently announced Rune Factory Wii game, Rune Factory Frontier, now has some impressive-looking in-game screenshots attached to the title. Coming off the heels of the Fatal Frame IV screenshots from the other day, are the developers finally harnessing the Wii's graphical power?

Rune Factory Frontier is a part of the Rune Factory series, which is a spinoff of the well-known Harvest Moon series. In addition to your standard Harvest Moon gameplay, the Rune Factory series adds into the mix some Action RPG-type gameplay, and the ability to do other activities besides the farming that is the original series' staple. The previous two Rune Factory games are available on the Nintendo DS.

The official site for the game is also now available. Rune Factory Wii is developed by Neverland Co., Ltd. [Wiki] and published by Marvelous Entertainment, Inc. [Wiki]. The game is set to be released later this year in Japan.
