I spy a sword, probably a katana by the looks of it. That in itself could go over very well...or absolutely shit. But just how many Japanese used katanas during WW2 when they had guns and bombs and all that fun stuff? In any case the game does look good in these screens. Lets just hope the game itself is good.

During banzai charges during the later stages of the war, Japanese officers would lead the charges wielding katanas.

All those screenshots look pre-rendered. I'm not trusting anything with those graphics unless I see some in-game screenshots.

I'd like to see a war game based around the samurai..something with a very dark tone though, nothing like Dynasty Warriors or whatever (good as some of those games are).

Well what do ya know, I learned something! Still in that case I imagine that they'll be rather rare in the game.

They really don't look pre-rendered at all.

Japanese used katanas and other hand combat weapons were used to torture people during WW2. That guy right there is getting tortured.

They need pretty much any gimmick like swords to make up for the fact that this is in WWII again.

I think I might actually check thnis game out. The only Call of Duty games I play are the Infinity Ward games but this looks different as it is Pacific Theatre this time. So it's something a wee bit different.

Modern Warfare was made by a different company.

This is basically a sequal to Call of Duty 3 not 4.

They should just split the games up into seperate series. Treyarch can make "Call of Duty" and Infinity Ward can make "Call of Awesomeness".

I loved playing COD4 on my friend's PS3. I'm thinking of getting this, even though it's not made by Infinity Ward. Hopefully the Wii version won't suck.
