Avalon Code is one of the games in a co-publishing deal between publishers XSEED Games and Marvelous Entertainment USA, announced as a part of the companies' E3 lineup.

Avalon Code is a RPG being developed by Matrix Software, who is responsible for the Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy IV DS remakes. The game's protagonist finds an empty book of prophecy, and by using it, is able to carve out his own story. It is a 3D Action RPG that will feature the player being able to control certain aspects of the world with the book.

The game is set to release in the US in the first quarter of 2009.
