Some new Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop screenshots have been released, showing protagonist Frank West blasting his way through the hoardes of zombies that Dead Rising is known for. Minus the hoardes.

An interesting addition to the Wii version is, you guessed it, the "waggle". To shake off zombies you must use the Wiimote to "waggle" Frank away from them.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm hoping that there is an option to turn off the giant shaking Wiimote icon that pops up on the screen every time Frank is attacked. It's certainly not one of my favorite features in Wii games.

Famitsu have uploaded a set of new screenshots for Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop for the Wii. Here's what you should expect: helpful in-action shots displaying how the game's waggle controls will work for stuff like combat. You should also expect to see the Res 4-style shooting mechanic in action. Here's what you shouldn't expect: more zombies than the last time you saw it. Capcom may have said they're hoping to get around 100 on-screen, but that's obviously something they're working on later.

I'll stick with the 360 version. you know, the superior one.

I think I'll atleast rent this to try it out. Dead Rising for the 360 is one of my favorite games. I'll certainly have to test out the new engine of this game though, as well as the new bosses etc. Should be worth the trip.

Seeing as the Time system is a lot more comfortable than the 360 version, a rental wouldn't be a bad idea if you wanna try it out. Hell I'd rent it if I had a Wii...even though I do play Dead Rising from time to time.

Of course, they have to add the waggle.

    *bleep* it

Unless the darkness is fooling my eyes, looks like a bunch of zombies there.

Like I said before, Wii turns everything into smut with it's constant waggling and shaking.

Well, they didn't ruin SMG did they? I get your point though, they do overuse it.

The Difficulty jumps killed that, tbh.
