In the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, it was announced that NCS/Extreme and GungHo Works will be remaking the original PC Engine Cho Aniki to Sony's PlayStation Portable, to be released in Japan in early 2009. Koji Hayama will be heading the music for the game.

Cho Aniki has garnered a cult following, starring the two muscle brothers, Adon and Samson, wearing nothing but speedos, but always flexing those ripped muscles. Beams shoot out of the holes in the brothers' heads as the player controls protagonists Idaten and Benten in what will be five levels in this classic Cho Aniki shmup action. The series is known far and wide for its homoerotic imagery.

Zero Cho Aniki will retail in Japan for 6090 yen, with the Limited Edition costing 7140 yen. The official site can be found here.
