New Luminous Arc 2 screens

chautemoc | August 14, 2008 | Screenshots | DS
imageepoch's sequel to Luminous Arc is due out in November, and some screens are here to tide you over a bit until then.

The original game was met with mixed reviews, with some journalists appreciating the game's refusal to take itself seriously (this one certainly looks no different in that respect), and others complaining it's pretty much a Final Fantasy Tactics clone (though some probably wouldn't find this a bad thing), and about its touch screen capabilities. Luminous Arc 2 received a 28/40 from notoriously tough Japanese magazine Famitsu.

imageepoch are a pretty new developer, Luminous Arc being their first game. Aside from Arc Rise Fantasia (a Wii RPG), they're also working on a yet to be revealed project codenamed Project DF, and World Destruction.

I agree, those boobs alone are purchase worthy.

It's going to be T, like they did with the first one.

Ha ha, I bought the first game and it was serviceable gameplay wise. Indeed, most will probably be picking this series up for the characters. It's too bad they probably won't be keeping the Japanese voices for the localized release, as the JP version had talent like the achingly awesome Rie Tanaka (Suigintou from Rozen Maiden, Maria from Hayate the Combat Butler, etc.).

Another one of these. God, this game isn't that good. IMO
