More screenshots have been unearthed from the internet for Sega's upcoming RPG, World Destruction for the Nintendo DS. These screens, contrary from the previous batch, show parts of the game's battles, along with the various cut-ins for the six playable characters. Presumably they are for the fighting game elements of the battle system, in the form of QTEs.

World Destruction stars Kyrie Irunisu, newly initiated member of the World Destruction Committee, a terrorist group that seeks to destroy the world to wrest it from the control of the monsters that have taken over. He's unique because with the Destruct Code orb in his hands, he actually has the power to destroy the world. The game features a turn-based battle system with both time-based and fighting game-based elements. The game will feature voice acting along with 2D sprits on 3D rotatable backgrounds.

World Destruction ~Michibikareshi Ishi~ is developed by imageepoch as the developer's Project S. It is set to release in Japan on September 25, 2008 and retail for 5980 yen. The official site can be found here.

[Get hyped for the game!]
