THQ recently released more screenshots and character art for their upcoming puzzle platformer, de Blob, which is set to hit the Wii in the North America on September 26th.

de Blob puts you in control of the titular character, charged with the task of bringing back color to the city of Chroma from the monochrome colors mandated by the evil I.N.K.T. Corporation that has taken over. By absorbing colors and splattering them all over the city, de Blob is aiming to take back the city and bring its color back. You can read IGN's hands-on from E3 here.

The game was originally conceived by students from the Utrecht School of the Arts, who later on formed Ronimo Games. THQ bought the rights to the IP, and is now publishing a Wii and DS version of the original. BlueTongue Software is developing this version of the game.
