Sega has released new screenshots and trailer of their upcoming RPG, World Destruction for the Nintendo DS. The screenshots showcase some of the cutscenes, along with more shots of the battle system, which will fully utilize both DS screens to create large visuals of both monsters and background. The trailer shows off a cutscene featured with voice acting, along with showing the game's battle system in motion, with different height attacks, fast button pressing, et al.

In World Destruction, beastmen rule the world, holding dominance and controlling the humans in the world. Here comes Kyrie Irunisu, the newest member of the World Destruction Committee who unknowingly has the power to destroy the world. However, to destroy the world, he needs to use the Destruct Code, an orb in the possession of fellow World Destruction Committee member Morte Asherah. Hot on their tails is the World Savior Committee, bent on stopping the World Destruction Committee's plans from coming to fruition.

World Destruction ~Michibikareshi Ishi~ is developed by up-and-coming imageepoch, as the developer's Project S. The game will be released on September 25, 2008, and retail for 5980 yen.
