The official site for Sega's upcoming DS RPG Phantasy Star Zero has opened today, coming with it a bevy of new screenshots that showcase the game's impressive graphics, battle system, and awesome chat system.
The three races from the Phantasy Star Online series make a return, and there will be fourteen different race/job combinations, including the familiar HUmar, RAcast, FOmarl and HUcaseal, alongside new ones, such as HUnewm and HUmarl. The game will support multiplayer for up to four players either locally or online through the Nintendo WiFi Connection. Players will be able to chat with each other through stylus-drawn messages as depicted in the screenshots.
The official site for Phantasy Star Zero can be found here. No release date has been announced. You can check out the rest of the screenshots over at the source or taking a gander at the official site.

I can't wait to play as a HUmar again. Wonder if there will be section IDs again; probably not, though.
