More Mega Man 9 Media: Featuring Splash Woman and Plug Man

Games newssite Games Radar received some new screenshots and concept art for Capcom's upcoming retro-revival, Mega Man 9, coming soon for WiiWare, Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network. This new batch of media features two Robot Masters: the first female Robot Master, Splash Woman, and the already-featured earlier today Plug Man. While we already know by now that Plug Man will yield the Plug Ball method, defeating Splash Woman will net the Laser Trident special weapon.

Mega Man 9 will release in Japan on WiiWare on September 24th.

    Wow, didn't realise MegaMan was still this prevalent. Despite the fact I have never cared for MegaMan, I won't discourage further discussion.

      I think what really makes this a big deal is, most mega man games these days have been that crappy battle network, which is a great departure from their core formula. Mega Man X8 was a great game with the classic formula, but still thats the ONLY new MM game thats come out for awhile that played like that (especially since X6 and X7 were horrible games) so having a new Mega Man game, especially one that tugs on our nostalgic hearts is what alot of people wanted.

I also wondered why all the robots were called _____ Man.

Wouldn't it make more sense for them to be called Plug Robot, Tree Robot, Cement Robot etc.
