New Suikoden Tierkreis Screenshots and Character Art

Akira_EX | September 19, 2008 | Screenshots | DS
Famitsu has uploaded new screenshots to accompany their article in their latest issue for Konami's upcoming RPG, Suikoden Tierkreis for the Nintendo DS. Included in this batch of screenshots are talking scenes, battle screens, and some new character art.

The game will make use of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, where players can send one of their characters to another player, who will proceed to use that player in a quest. The character will return with upgraded stats, levels, and maybe even equipment from taking part in the quest. Suikoden Tierkreis will make use of four-person active battle parties. As a series first, characters will be completely customizable in their equipment, with weapons and armor able to be switched depending on needs or preferences. Any changes to equipment will also reflect on the character.

There is no set release date for Suikoden Tierkreis, but it has been announced for a North American release. The official site for the game can be found here. Check out the rest of the screenshots and art over at the source.
