22 New Gorgeous Resistance 2 screens

22 new Resistance 2 screenshots have come out, and they do look nice. Many of the shots show you fighting throughout the game. Insomnia CEO Ted Price has said that the game is just about finished, and should be out in November.

Have a look at these brand new Resistance 2 screenshots and we think you'll agree that Insomniac's latest is looking rather nice - if the in-game actions turns out like this, that is.

In some of the shots you can see two players blasting at the alien scum which must be taken from the separate co-op campaign promised, as well as a bunch of shots from the sweet-looking single-player quest.

    Looking really good! Hard to believe this title is mere months away, as are all the other upcoming titles.

    Doesn't look incredible, but definately above average. Shot 22 was fantastic, but it looks to be prerendered. The screens in the forest all looked really detailed.

    2, 6, and 10 don't look all that amazing, and 4 isn't even a real screenshot. The rest are astounding, considering how the first was.

    12 and 13, not sure if those are real or not.

    I think Insomniac need to start saying which screens are online and which are from single player as the online modes have the graphics nuked somewhat. This is generally to do with the fact that if in single player you have 50 enemies on screen they have that tailored towards a battle in 8 player co-op there are over 150+ enemies on screen, the graphics are not going to look as good some of those screens are from single player like the last screenshot, but most are multiplayer shots that are graphically stunted to allow for fluid gameplay with thousands of random things happening.

    The human faces all look great but the Chimera only look decent. I really wish a developer would find a way to realistically portray a large boulder laying in the ground like the failure to do so in 14. I'm really pumped for their active gore system.

      You must admit, dmf; the chimera titan shown at the top of this article is actually pretty detailed.

        Yeah, it's definitely detailed, I just wish it was more realistic. It just seems like a big plastic alien with a gun. I'm sure it would probably look better in motion than in the shot though.

          Looks pretty realistic to me. I don't see how it's 'plastic'. He's got a rough skin texture, I'm thinking is why.
