Grand Theft Auto IV: PC/console comparison

chautemoc | October 12, 2008 | Screenshots | PC Playstation 3
A side-by-side comparison of the console and PC versions of GTA IV has been put online, and if the evidence holds true, it looks like the PC version will indeed be looking much better. This is, of course, if your system can handle it.
Tiscali Games (CZ) has just put up what they claim to be 100 percent accurate comparison shots of GTA IV on both the PC and Console.

Crap that is just amazing (the PC version that is). I really wonder how many discs that's going to take

It looks like the first shot is at a different time and that's why the console version looks a bit darker. I wonder if the console version would've been as good as the PC version if it had been PS3 only?

Exactly, it'd still look EXACTLY the same if it were PS3 only. =|

Whoever has a PC that can run that though, congratulations i hate you XD

Actually you and Kim are both incorrect. Had this game been console PS3 exclusive and R* actually utilized Blu-ray space fully, without restraints cause of being on two different platforms with disc mediums, it would definitely be as good as the PC Model.

Those visuals are awesome. I just can't imagine playing GTA with a mouse and keyboard though.

I've got all 3. I'd rather use the 360 controller if anything.

Hehheh, of course the PC version looks amazing, when a console becomes as good as a PC, it's no longer a console... it's a PC.

Does this upgrade make the missions more fun? Or the game for that matter...
