New screenshots for Bionic Commando. The screenshots are all about the multiplayer. They show how the game makes use of grapple hooks and zip-lining, and they also explore the game's use of verticality.

This is being hailed as the first game to feature multiplayer zip-lining and grapple-swing kicks. Now that's not a bad thing to be known for, really. Bionic Commando is actually trying to do something a little different in the third-person action genre. And being that we're all about innovation here at Blend Games, we thought it would be nice to share some new multiplayer screenshots of that zip-lining we were talking about.

I'm so looking farward to this game. Bionic Commando was the first game I ever beat way back in the 80s. Frankly te only one at the time that was interesting enough for me to keep pushing to finish. And I loved the Rearmed remake that came out earlier this year.

But to be honest I could careless about the multiplayer modes. I'm almost certain I will never even play them. I just hope the single player game is as compelling as the original. They did everything right with Rearmed so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they continue to get everything right.

I think the multi-player aspect of this game will be awesome.

It looks like it will be very fast-paced and over-the-top, which is definitely something I'll be into.

I really hope that the grappling system is as fluid as I hope. I think there's a large chance it could be poorly done.

I doubt it will be poorly done since it is the primary focus of the game. I would be less worried about the grapple system and more worried about other aspects of the game mechanic suffering.

      Ah, very good point, Koloth.

That makes me feel much more assured about this game.
