Grand Ages: Rome is the sequel to Imperium Romanum, a city-builder with light legion-level combat from Kalypso Media. This sequel, promises to refine not only the campaign mode but also is said to give the player a lot more options in the combat modes (which most reviewers said was lacking in the original). Kalypso Media released new screenshots today for the upcoming game.

        WOW! *jaw dropped* I thought Imperium Romanum was ok, but this - as a sequel - wow. I hope they pull this off.

        EDIT: Hrm, upon closer inspection - seems like they may have learned from the brilliant masterminds behind the Total War games. ((*Please do a Shogun remake using the new engine *crosses fingers*))
