There are new screenshots available for Capcom's upcoming game Monster Hunter G for the Wii. It is a port of the PS2 version, which was developed as an expansion to the original Monster Hunter for the PS2.

The screenshots show the Hunter base Kokotto village, where players can receive quests to take on in the game's single player mode. The village has its assortment of shops, and also holds the character's home, where players can store their items and equipment. A character's appearance will also change depending on his/her equipment. The game will support the Classic Controller.

Monster Hunter G will release in Japan in the Spring of 2009. You can find the official site here. Check out the rest of the screenshots at the source.
