Beware: reading this has the potential to lower excitement over the game. If it weren't for the fact the game already has more than a handful of near-perfect scores, I would be second-guessing this for a brief moment.

/agree in fact - I wish I could edit this and say SPOILER.

Why would it lower excitement anyway? Nobody buys a FPS for the campaign.

Yeah, so was I. For once it's an FPS that seems to take its campaign seriously.

I had to laugh at the comments at the bottom of the page.

How dare he insult the great and mighty Killzone 2. How dare he insinuate it is anything less than perfect in every way.

Reminds me of Gears and/or Halo fans responses to Sony gamers. People need to relax.

I reckon this game looks fantastic, but as always, there's gonna be people who arnet too impressed. No need to worry though, just an opinion isn't it? And worth thinking about I suppose.

Kinda like how there are a lot of people who weren't impressed with Gears 2. It's no different no matter which console you play; every big exclusive will have people who aren't impressed.

Apart from the graphics, I'm just not sold on KZ2. Maybe the game has just become too over-hyped.

And maybe it's just me, but the campaign videos sometimes get a little boring.

I'm more interested in Demon's Soul to be honest.

I didn't read number 5 because of the spoiler tag, but the other 4 really don't deter me at all. Only the part about the guns not feeling as powerful as they should would annoy me. Possibly the lack of crouch toggle.

Conversely, other websites attest to the weapons actualy feeling very "meaty" in the game. This discrepency between websites can only be resolved through playing it ourselves, unfortunately...

Oh, so I just saw that they released the 6 different controller presets and settings and they do appear to have the option of toggling crouch or not, as well as for aiming with the sights. Yay.

You know. People have opinions on different games. Some LOVED Gears. I didn't as well as others didn't. Some HATED Resistance. I thought it was alright.

So you think KZ2 campaign will be awesome/ Great, glad to know it, so to you that game will rock. You think it's not awesome? Great, glad to know it, so you think the game will not rock. Why don't both of you practice saying "I THINK ..." instead of "IT IS" as if to say that what you like or dislike is law and everyone else should abide by it? Try it out. I bet you'll have more friends --- real life ones!

        Indeed it was.

I don't see who there's spoilers in the news post? I'm confused, nothing is spoilt or given away.

Just because this guy says it doesn't rock doesn't make him right. Besides, he also made a "5 Reasons why KZ2's campaign rocks" article, so he's giving us both sides. I'm sure Gears 2's campaign had a few niggles as well; every campaign does.
