In an attempt to put over F.E.A.R. 2's graphics, Warner Bros. released some screenshots containing doctored images of F.E.A.R. 1. The article does another comparison of actual in-game shots for both games, and the results are startling. The images are in high-resolution so it may take a while for them to load.

Now you can yell shenanigans at us for the screenshots, but these are press shots not our own. However, due to this particular circumstance, I thought it would be proper to do a comparison to the screenshot comparison issued to the press. So without further ado, here’s a screenshot comparison to the press release screenshots. The first two shots are from the press circuit and the bottom two screenshots are from the actual F.E.A.R. 1 game. The final comparison is our own side-by-side comparison of F.E.AR. 1 and F.E.A.R. 2.
