Tekken 6 is looking more and more like a decent attempt to challenge SF4 for best fighting game. These newly released screens came accompanied by some character profiles to whet the appetite of those looking forward to this title.

The latest screens for Tekken 6 come complete with a convenient fact sheet detailing what some of your favourite characters have been up to since the last King of Iron Fist Tournament.

I find it rather funny that Namco Bandai felt we needed a quick reference to know what characters like Nina Williams, Hwoarang, and Christie Monteiro are doing getting involved in the l6th King of Iron Fist tournament, seeing as their motivations hardly change that much from game to game. Christie is looking for Eddy, and Hwoarang is still trying to win, despite having actually won the last one. The only one who has really changed all that much is Nina, who found and defeated her sister Anna and is slowly becoming boring due to that fact. I'm pretty sure even the most stalwart Tekken fans stopped caring a few games back. We just want to hit each other.

Doesn't look that appealing, i know graphics aren't everything but Virtua Fighter 5 had graphics better than this and that came out 2 years ago lol.

By 'fun' you mean something any person can pick up and button mash, proclaiming themselves as 'l33t' thereafter?

Although to say VF5's graphics were better then this, BL, is beyond silly. The attention to detail in T6 makes the graphics much better then VF5.

Not fully that reason, only the part that you can just pick it up and play it rather well straight away.I don't really like fighting game where you need to spend quite a lot of time learning how do even the most simple move.VF is just to slow paced for me.

Well considering it had a mode in which they spelt out how to do every single move for you, that could be done in under ten minutes and set you up rather well with a character, I'll have to disagree.

They look all so cool. I remember when I played the demo on ps2 for Tekken 4 that was epic.

Of course it will, T5: DR was and Namco/Bandai know that not making T6 with online mode will only result in their HQ being burnt to the ground.
