Featured in this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu, new images and screenshots of Capcom's upcoming Wii title Monster Hunter 3 were put up on Famitsu's website today. To the right is what will be the game's cover art, sans all the logos and the white Wii label.

Introduced is a new location: the submerged forest: an ecosystem submerged in fresh water that is set to feature both on land and underwater gameplay. A new monster was also shown, which looks like a raging and deadly anglerfish. The light on its head can be a distraction.

The game will release August 1st in Japan, and March 2010 in North America. In Japan, the game will be bundled with the recently announced black Wii console. The game's official site can be found here. View the rest of the screenshots over at the source.
