Thanks to the guys at worthplaying.com we have 5 new screenshots of The Witcher. From the screenshots I must say this game looks amazing. You play as a man named Geralt known for being a monster slayer for hire and an excellent swordsman. Geralt has lost his memory and he is on a quest to regain it.

The Witcher is an action RPG, combining features of such games as Dungeon Siege, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, Gothic and Neverwinter Nights, incorporating a simple-yet-interesting game system, along with a complex plot and attractive 3D graphics.

    This game looks...weird. But I bet it has awesome gameplay.

    Well if it uses some features from Baldur’s Gate, then it can't go massively wrong really. Looks like a pretty interesting RPG, and a little dark perhaps? Hope this turns out to be good.
