There are a bunch of new screenshots for the latest game in Namco Bandai's largely popular (in Japan) idol series is Idolm@ster Dearly Stars for the Nintendo DS. The game will feature three new idols to play as, and will have cameos from regular characters in BanNam's series.

The three playable characters are Ryo Akizuki, Ai Hidaka, and Eri Mizutani, each with their own stories and personalities. They are all a part of the new 876 Production Group which manages the three idols. Play through the game from the idol's perspective, and you can do various things such as play some minigames to improve the idols stats.

The game will also feature DSi functionality, where players can use the DSi camera to scan QR codes for new items in the game. There are also Wi-Fi capabilities.

The Idolm@sters Dearly Stars will release in Japan on September 17th for 6279 yen. The game will be rated CERO C, and you can find the game's official site here. You can check out the rest of the screenshots and art at the source.
