Since the Wii can only display in 480p

I know that (and its 480p by the way), but its still not a PS3-360 quality graphics, it just looks like it should have cause the Wii should have had a little bit better graphic engine (among other things, like a freakin hard drive)

the Wii has the same or nearly the same processor and graphics card as the GCN.

"I'm sorry, but since when did 720p upscaling become impressive"

There, fixed that for you and agree totally. It's like running any emu at a higher resolution when the assets aren't designed to support it and instead only suffer from quality loss or blur. -_- no one cares if you're playing Super Mario Galaxy at 1080p if the game assets were not made for the resolution.

Apart from the poorly upscaled HUD, it looks pretty good!

well Mario looks good but theres not much to him. look at the ground textures, like in the pic where he's a bee and the piranha plant is next to him. the ground textures, and even the sky background look like total garbage.

Lol @ the HUD. That should be the best looking part of the upscaling, considering how basic it is.

Wow Galaxy looks allot better than I thought it would.
Too bad the Dolphin emulator refuses to work on my PC.
