Tecmo's previously named 'Quantum Theory' game (now just 'Quantum'), appears to take a lot from Western and Japanese developing styles, mixing 200 lb. muscley men and guns bigger than you with a lot of fantasy elements and character designs typical to the region.

With that in mind, 17 new screenshots are here for your perusal, of which we've included five of the most interesting.

Looks good. Hope this game doesn't bomb like that other game which was supposed to be "Sony's answer to Halo".

    I'm talking about Haze, btw.

Nah. This is Sony's answer to Gears Of War. Of course, with the laggy-ness of Gears 2 online, I'm sure Sony will top it, at least in the online play department.

Well to be honest, the guy looks like a compelete ripoff of Marcus Fenix.

I looked up this game in wikipedia and I liked the sound of this: A unique twist to the cover system however is that the tower is "living" and thus constantly adding and taking away ideal cover locations.

That sounds funny to me for some reason.

First off, all of these images are already available on IGN and Gamespot. Which means we still have yet to see anything from recent development stages. That being said, I'm not getting my hopes up for anything good.
