The first screenshots are now available for Atlus' upcoming port, Persona 3 Portable for the PlayStation Portable, after having been unveiled in this week's Weekly Famitsu.

In Persona 3 Portable, you will be able to select a female protagonist, who will have her own events and relationships compared to the male lead. Additionally, a pink-colored interface will replace the blue one, with new BGMs also being added to the title. Originally in Persona 3 there were three difficulties: Easy, Normal, and Hard. Persona 3 Portable adds the Beginner and Maniacs difficulty, for even easier or even harder play.

The game's interface also sees an overhaul, with a handy menu now available for you to jump from location to location, eliminating the need to roam the school hallways or cities when outside the Tartarus. For battle, a new command option has been added, allowing you to issue direct commands to your party members.

Also, a new character will be seen in the Velvet Room, complementing Elizabeth.
