If you recall, Sega has a teaser site a while back that teased a new RPG. The game was formally unveiled yesterday as Phantasy Star Portable 2 for the PSP, and Famitsu now has screenshots available on their website.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 takes place three years after the events of Pahntasy Star Portable 1. Your character will be a member of the civilian-run Little Wing, a mercenary group on the space colony resort Clad 6. There are two main characters who are your main compatriots in Little Wing: the 16-year-old Emilia, and the 15-year-old Yuuto.

The biggest change in Phantasy Star Portable 2 will be that the game will support infrastructure mode on the PSP, allowing for multiplayer via the internet. An ad hoc mode is also supported.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 will release in Japan on December 3rd for 5040 yen. The game's official site can be found here. Check out the rest of the screenshots over at the source.
