kingjfs | June 18, 2007 | Screenshots | PC Playstation 3
Activision has released ten new screenshots of the next Call of Duty game, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360).
Five of the screens come from the console versions (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) and they're in a nice HDTV-ready widescreen format. Five more screens from the PC version of the game in a higher resolution and at a computer monitor friendly 4:3 aspect ratio.

Hmm, to be honest, i expected better. i mean, hi-res on the PS3/X-Box and PC? They don't look any better than I have seen on other, further down consoles.

They wouldn't jump out at me if I saw them.

At least the graphics look decent. Just as long as the game doesn't play like shit, I'm okay with it. Besides, at least this game isn't another WWII shooter. Anyone sick of them ?

I read GI's article on CoD4, I don't believe they mess around either. They totally praised CoD4 and called it the next best thing to photorealistic graphics. Also, Infinity Ward's had a few gamers test CoD4 for a small while, a gamer totally praised the game as well. I expect no less from it's multiplayer either.
