Square Enix Shows Off Latest Batch of Breath-taking Final Fantasy XIV Screens

Sqaure Enix have released a bunch of new screenshots of Final Fantasy XIV which look absolutely gorgeous. The first few seem to be stills from CG cutscenes but the rest are all supposedly in-game screens. The environments in particular are extremely detailed. The screens also provide the first look at the airships that will appear.

    I don't want to play this game, mainly because I wasted moments of my life on FF11.. but man does it look amazing.. it's going to be a tempting release.. I may have to go to rehab..

    Depends on what's in-game and what's CG. Looking at that healer picture, it looks CG to me, rather than in-game.

      I'm pretty sure i remember reading somewere that theirs actually NO CG in this game and what you see is what you play.

        The intro scene is CGI thats a fact. The pic with the elvaan healing the galka is indeed CGI.

          Ah fair enough then, i was misinformed! But the picture of them fighting has some damn good graphics in it anyway

      The scenery pics and the pic with the Elvaan and taru fihting the antlion things are the real gameplay

    Wow, these screens look absolutely gorgeous. I wasn't even aware that any photos had been released yet.

    That in-game screen really makes me want to see what else they can pull off. I can't wait until there's some sort of 'summon' shot.
