Top five best endings in the Final Fantasy series

Gamespot's back again with their graphics comparison, this time using Assassin's Creed 2 as their judgement game. Follow the source to see the comparison images.
When we first started this feature, the differences between some versions of games were astounding. Fight Night Round 3 looked drastically better on the Xbox 360 with its improved lighting and shadowing effects. The following year, the graphics on both platforms got considerably more even--Oblivion even looked better on the PlayStation 3. Every subsequent comparison pretty much ended the same, with the Xbox 360 getting the benefit of slightly higher-resolution textures and other marginal improvements that wouldn't be noticed unless the images were put side by side.

...not that the results change anything
Besides, using multiplatform titles as the determining factor is about the worst way to go about this.
Because it's really confusing on what your trying to say here.
Granted the 360 produces some amazing graphics that pushes the bar but the PS3 has the upper hand, I just rarely see games that actually do this though. Possibly because it's a shitfest trying to develop on it or so I've heard.
There. Summed up perfectly. Now, the real question is if you care about a tiny difference such as that are you really a being worthy of life? Probably not.
I think that this comparison is actually pretty interesting at times, but I can't help but feel that sometimes these articles rig these mofos because some screen shots on the same game will look good on both the Xbox360 and the PS3. Seriously, the jumped back and forth for me.
I also found it funny how the Xbox 360's Arkham Asylum was far superior over the PS3's because of a dumb little logo. Hahaha.
Which leads me to wonder how they believe what they say when they said the 360 has been getting better texture resolutions for a while now.
"The Xbox 360 might also benefit from normal mapping, which gives the floor surfaces, the brick lines, and the door rivets a more 3D look."
Normal mapping is just that it is normal, it is flat, it is 2 Dimentional looking from distance and up close. Games that use normal mapping are everywhere and it does not give things a 3D look. Had they said something like;
"The Xbox 360 version looks like it benefits from bump or parallax mapping which gives the floor surfaces, the brick lines, and the door rivets a more 3D look."
Had the person said that then maybe just maybe i'd give him credit. Though that would be false as AC2 doesn't include either bump or parallax mapping like most games. There is absolutely no difference in any of these screenshots other than brightness and ones they blatently tampered with. The PS3 is now on par with the 360 in multiplatform games. I do not see why Gamespot would be so intent on still fueling those fires.
