LittleBigPlanet 2 was recently announced, and it has some huge ambitions to top the first game. But like most gamers, we want to see it, not read about it. So check out these first few screenshots. Sackboy Drone? Sweet.

I'm still not sure if I'm entirely ready for a new one. Hell, I haven't even published my level yet in the first one...

I'm ready for a new one if it looks even half as pretty as those screens. I think the biggest change I care about is being able to alter my physical shape of my Sackboy. I want a 3ft tall Sackboy with block arms and a furry mohawk.

Also hopefully they can increase the capacity of the thermometer. The amount of things you have to remember to keep thermometer growth minimal is ridiculous, and they don't even tell you.

Looks interesting. I'll probably get this, since I never got around to playing the first one.

I'm up for a new one. Presumably they'll show footage at E3? I can't wait to see it in motion.

I still want to properly use all of the first LBP. I only published one level and it was during the beta, and it was . . . worse than horrible. Just a straight run through explosions and chaos.

I can hardly wait for the second one but I hope it's not TOO different!

I'm hoping for the opposite really, if this thing doesn't have some major differences from the first game I don't think I'll be interested.

Really? Well with me it's kinda a worry though. You know how some sequels can destroy an original game because it doesn't live up to the first one. That's what I keep thinking.

I enjoyed the first game very much. I hope this game does better. Also maybe they could add a better story line this time

LBP isn't about the storyline, it doesn't need one. If anything You the players are supposed to be making your own storyline.

I agree, its like saying Left 4 Dead is all about its storyline.

Left 4 Dead: There are some zombies, shoot them
Little Big Planet: Here are some blocks, make something that resembles a penis.

Wanting a good story line in LBP is like wanting Lord of the Rings printed on the side of lego blocks.

I know you know it's not gonna happen but up until March it could have happened as Media Molecule were still independent. Now though Sony owns them and all their multi platform ideas if they had any are gone.

I know you know what I'm about to say because you just said it but I'm going to say it anyway even though we all know it.
