After the announcement of FFXIII-2, Square Enix has released today some breathtakingly gorgeous screenshots and artwork for the upcoming game featuring Lightning.

    Has anybody figured out the gender of the individual behind Lightning there? I'm at a little bit of a loss here.

      I'm pretty sure it's a guy. That's just from what I've seen in the trailer.

        Okay, that's what I thought, but I saw someone refer to him(?) as a "her," and it threw me off a little. lol.

    So far, the screenshots/trailer seems to be hinting at a rivalry/love connection between lightning and this purple dude. Which if that's the case, I'm already groaning over this one...
