Konami has revealed several comparison screens for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, which was recently announced for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

    Good to see they're just upscaling and cleaning them up, instead of trying to make them all look like MGS4.

      I kind of feel the opposite way.

      I'd kind of like to see them make the games look like MGS4, but I know they wouldn't do that for an HD re-release. That's more like something they'd do for a full on remake, which will probably never happen for MGS2 and MGS3 knowing how poorly the remake of MGS1 was received by most fans of the series.

      This is definitely cool though. I already own these games, and I still have a PS2 to play them on, but I might get this just because I'm a bastard who's willing to buy anything with Metal Gear Solid attached to it. Plus, it's in HD, which is also quite nice.

    Those look nice. Way to clean em up. It's funny - I used to pla the shit out of MGS2/3 but when I got my PS3 I haven't touched them, even though I have a B/C PS3. It'll be awesome to go back and play them again.

    sweetness. ill likely end up getting this at some point, maybe not at launch. although theres a chance the price will start out at something below $60, like 40 maybe because they tend to do that when rereleasing older games.
