New Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core screenshots have emerged just before the game's release.

This time, the screens focus on the Nibelheim incident that was shown in the original Final Fantasy VII (PSone), featuring familiar characters: Sephiroth, Cloud Strife, Jenova, Zack Fair, and Tifa Lockhart.

First-Class SOLDIER Genesis, a bikini-clad Shisune, and a new character (Hollander), also appear in the screens.

The game is set for release in Japan on September 13th.

Fantastic new Crisis Core scans are up (though in low quality) that'll make the fanboys and girls both squeal and shudder. Images of Genesis and Hollander. Shirtless Zack & swimsuit Shisune, possibly at Costa Del Sol.

You'll also get a frightening in-game look at the Nibelheim Incident: complete with images of Jenova, Sephiroth, and First Class Zack, Cloud in his MP uniform, and Tifa in her western outfit that you may remember from the original Final Fantasy VII. As well as the photograph scene with Zack Tifa and Sephiroth. (I'm also adding a link for the image of the original photograph from FFVII: 4th disk).

It seems as though no detail has been left untouched, and with slightly less than a month until the game's release, Square-Enix seems to finally be bringing out the big guns to push it into launch.
