Silent Hill 5 - brand new screens !

Yesterday, Konami released the second batch of Silent Hill 5 screenshots, for the XBox 360 and PS3.
The images show some of the gruesome creatures that will be terrorizing Alex Shepherd - the main character - on his journey throughout the game. Interestingly enough, the infamous "nurses" are back and ready for action.

Konami released the first images of Silent Hill 5 (for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360). The game will revolve around Alex Shepherd, a young, and mentally fragile, 22 year old veteran soldier.
Konami has announced that Silent Hill 5 will be even more horrific than the previous games of the series, particularly with the new addition of creatures equipped with a advanced artificial intelligence enabling them to trap you.

    Wow, I am stunned! Beautiful graphics and creatures! I was kind of disappointed in the first screenshots, a HUGE improvement!

    That's Team Silent for you, always going beyond perfection. Though it shouldn't really be that hard for enemies to trap you, indoors at least...roaming around town should get a lot creepier.

    Now that I look at the screen shots more clearly, it kind of looks like they're using the same engine used for Killzone 2 doesn't it?

    Oh, and these nurses look far too similar to the ones in the Silent Hill movie..

    I thought the exact same thing...the outfits are shorter than usual, revealing their legs more (liek the movie) and the same exact faces...I don't believe the past games had their faces deformed like that.

    I can't tell on the engine though.

      They did, they're bubblehead nurses it looks like.
