Scoot announced for Wii - worse graphics than Cruis'n?

When Cruis'n was announced for the Nintendo Wii a few weeks back, many thought that the sloppy state of graphics on the console from lazy developers couldn't get much worse.

It looks like Scoot from Micro Machines V4 developers Supersonic might give it a run for its money, however. Dreadful.

Like so many other Wii titles, the first screenshots of the two-wheeled Crazy Taxi-alike are appalling, particularly in comparison to some of Supersonic Software’s previous efforts such as Micro Machines V4. They’re competing with the recently announced Cruis’n in the ‘dreadful graphics’ stakes.

    Nope. It's a good try, though, but Cruis'n is still the only next generation game that I have mistaken for a DS game. This, although terrible-looking Dreamcast quality, isn't quite as bad as Cruis'n.

    Not as bad as Cruis'n but still really bad. This definitely takes second place for worst looking Wii game.

    This looks like one of those cheap PC games they sell at the price club that we buy when we were like 7 years old. Then we install it on our Windows 98 and it sucks. ;_;

    I don't care what everyone says about Cruis'n, but I'm definitely going to buy it. I just love my Cruis'n USA for my N64.

    What a waste of money, but its ironic that Wii owners always say graphics don't matter, but when games like Cruisin and Scoot come out and suddenly its a whole different argument

      They don't matter, once you know a console they can, rather ironically given the whole game-play over graphics thing, give an impression of how much effort the developer put in though.

    I haven't even seen Cruis'n and this looks TERRIBLE! WTH ARE THEY DOING!! Why are they wasting time with games like this?! Seriously..
